I played Ernie’s On Stage by myself on Tuesday night and it was a little busier than Monday. Ed Ashton stopped in to say hello, which was nice as did Brenda, Ernie and Andy. I played all their favourites and rehearsed some new arrangements of five unreleased tunes. The new tunes were

Kurtis and I played Ernie’s On Stage on Monday night. We worked on a new tune of mine (Something I Cannot Have) and worked on a tune we hadn’t played together live before (I Hear The Train Go By). Thanks to Ernie and Sean for listening.
Barley Mow December 12
I played for my first time at the Barley Mow in Almonte on Saturday. Ed and Gibby showed up as did an old guitar student, Adam Pender. Some folks were dancing after two songs.

Ernie’s was pretty quiet due to the first snow fall so I took the opportunity to test out some new originals. Dylan and Sarah came with me.

Arts Carleton Place December 6
I volunteered to play at the Arts Carleton Place Open House from 3:30 to 5:00 and tried a slightly different setup due to the confined quarters and the experiment seemed to work.
The Point December 5
I traveled up to Constance Bay to play at the Point Restaurant on Saturday evening. The dancing started early in the first set while the Bruins beat the Maple Leafs

I played at Danby’s Bar and Grill to a packed house on Friday night. Thanks to Brenda and Ernie Rowe for showing up.
Ernie’s On Stage December 1
I played Ernie’s On Stage on Tuesday evening by myself and took the opportunity to play a couple of unreleased tunes. Response to the tunes was quite good.
